Dr. Daniel Sun

A graduate of the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Western Ontario in 1999, Dr. Sun has been an active member the Ontario Dental Association. He served as the Treasurer of the York Region Dental Society in 2003, then as Vice-President in 2004, and is currently serving as the President of the Society.

In order to stay current with the most up-to-date techniques and concepts in the ever-changing world of dentistry, Dr. Sun attends numerous seminars and hands-on courses throughout the year so that he can provide the best dental care for his patients. Dr. Sun is also actively involved in the Vaughan community. He has sponsored a local hockey team, set up a scholarship fund to encourage high school students interested in pursuing a career in science (particularly dentistry!). He also invites grade school students to his office for tours in order to expose them to the importance of proper oral hygiene at home.

Dr. Sun is happily married to his wife Patricia, and together they have two young kids aged four and one. When he is not working (which is rare), he enjoys golfing, reading and spending time with his family.

Sandra - Office Manager

Sandra is the office manager at our office. Sandra has over 12 years of experience in the dental field, and is very knowledgeable in all areas of dental treatments. Sandra ensures that the office is running smoothly with her sense of humor and confidence. Sandra enjoys traveling, golfing and cooking.

Alexandria - Patient Coordinator

Alexandria is our patient coordinator. She is the first line of contact between our patients and us. Alexandria is also responsible for ensuring that the needs of all our patients are met by scheduling their appointments and reminding them of upcoming appointments. Alexandria enjoys swimming, outdoor activities and working out in her spare time.

Deborah - Dental Assistant

Deborah is a Level II, Certified Dental Assistant, a graduate of CDI College. Having been the “right-hand” person of Dr. Sun for the past 2 ½ years, Deborah is an integral part of our treatment team. Recently married, Deborah is now expecting their first child. Congratulations!

Sandy - Dental Hygienist

Sandy is the registered dental hygienist in our office. Always smiling and very hard-working, Sandy ensures that all patients receive the best oral treatment she is known for, in a gentle but thorough fashion. Sandy enjoys traveling, reading and outdoor activities in her spare time.

Thespina - Dental Assistant

Thespina is the newest member of our treatment team. She is a Level II, Certified Dental Assistant graduated from Durham College. Thespina first met Dr. Sun as a patient of his practice. Upon finishing her training as a dental assistant, Thespina decided to spend her hands-on training at Dr. Sun's office. So impressed with her skills and her natural people skills, Dr. Sun has asked Thespina to stay on as his part-time assistant. Thespina enjoys cooking and enjoying outdoors in her spare time.

Pat - Denturist

Pat has been working with Dr. Sun for the past 3 years, providing exceptional denture services to out patients. His vast knowledge in denture design and fabrication, together with his previous training as a dental lab technician, has allowed Pat to provide excellent-fitting dentures to our patients at a reasonable cost as he often does most of the lab work himself. He feels that this is the only way to maintain high standard of quality in the finished products.
